Re: phpBB2 to phpBB3 smilies converter
Hello...thanks for the great application! I had a huge smilie pack on an old phpbb2 board that I wanted to import into a new phpbb3 board for a different community, and this application was just what I needed!
Unfortunately, phpbb3 isn't liking the file that's been generated. I've posted a support request on the 3.0.x boards, but they're so swamped with other issues right now that I haven't had much help. Here's the link: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 6&t=567715 Is there any input you might have that could make this work?
Merci beaucoup!

Re: phpBB2 to phpBB3 smilies converter
That's strange. Generated files worked fine with the betas and RC1... (the smilies on this forum are imported from a pack generated through this program )
So I guess that's something they have touched since RC1...
I may have an idea, I'll just check something...

Re: phpBB2 to phpBB3 smilies converter
Files generated by my program DO have that final space. I just checked and I remember distincly having lost some time over that nitpick when writing the app.A_Jelly_Doughnut wrote:There is no space after that last comma, and in order to recognize the pak, it must be there.
The only difference I can find is that my app uses CR+LF for each new line, while an exported pack uses LF only.
Try importing the conversion of the example phpBB2 pack shipped with the program, which I know for sure works. If it fails to import, then it's probably the CRLF thingy, if not, it's probably someting with your pack...

Re: phpBB2 to phpBB3 smilies converter
Well from what I see on phpbb.com, you altered the output, hence the 'bug', ergo the program works and all is well, false alarm...
Good day.
Good day.
