TITLE : Server-side QScript demo
VERSION : Gamma
(ingame it says "gama" with one M. That's a typo...)
AUTHOR : Gamall Wednesday Ida

FILENAME Windows : IdaServerX-gama.pk3
FILENAME Linux : the same.
FILESIZE : < 20 Ko
DATE RELEASED : April 2007

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Just put the relevant file in your server's base folder. Then
JA+ : /amv X to get started.
Base: /rc vstr X to get started.
others : anything that allows you to execute vstrs.

Note that since it was written for JA+, it makes little sense to use it with other mods.

WARNING: Using that on your client installation will cause your settings to be lost when the game ends.

DESCRIPTION:
=-=-=-=-=-=-

I found this file in my archives. I made it quite a while ago for my JA+ servers, and called it "X system" because, as a convention, I used the letter 'X' to denote eXecution of its commands.

As it is, I think most people won't find it useful as a server tool, since it is entirely in French. There is a LOT of help text, and I am not interested in translating it. Like I said, it is an old file I found rotting in my archives.

However, I believe that those interested in server-side qscripting will find it useful because it exemplifies ways around the inherent weaknesses of vstr scripting to make quite complex documented commands, which simulate argument passing to some extent, and give a taste of interactivity.

So you are MEANT to open the pk3 and fool around with the code, and I hope it might give you ideas which help you write your own, which is the reason why I publish it under the name "Server-side qscript demo", and not "X system" or anything.

Ok, let's wrap it up.

Est-ce que le système X est compatible avec d'autres mods, comme clanmod ?

i dont think it is, it looks like just a bunch of .txt files and it doesn't have any .dll files so it should work with it...
let's try the translation:
je pense cest, peut etre... il n'a pas n'importe quel .dll cest just un paquet de .txt dossiers
i messed up some where i bet lol, im done with my 2 years of french finally :D
